Autumn/Winter news
Despite all the recent rain, don’t put away your racquets just yet! The courts have been cleaned and are ready for action! To help maintain the courts during the winter please lower and lift the nets after play. Anyone who wishes to purchase tokens for the floodlights, please contact Paul Harradine on 07912 513415.
A belated thank you to everyone who represented the club at the LIVING IN LYMPSTONE event back in September. It was a great opportunity to showcase the club and our stand in the Village Hall together with action on the courts attracted interest from potential new members.
Despite the rain the autumn adult coaching programme has finished. The junior programme and Cardio will roll on to make up for cancelled sessions. Up to date information is shared by Jenni Gates via WhatsApp.
Last month we were audited by the LTA, in line with their strategy to ensure that British tennis is at the forefront of safeguarding for all children, young people and adults at risk in sport. A quick reminder that Corinne Gimber is our Welfare Officer (07814 554213) for any concerns you may have and safeguarding information is posted around the courts and available on the website. We want everyone to have a positive tennis experience at Lympstone and are proud that LTC is one of only a handful of clubs in the area to exceed the standard set by the LTA.
