Rufus wins the Jackie Clarke Cup!
We had a great block of junior summer tennis and managed to avoid the rain every week. We ran both red and orange ball tennis lessons, working on every shot and playing various games over the 8 lessons. All of the children built in confidence and developed their tennis skills each week, and had lots of fun on court.
Rufus was awarded the Jackie Clarke cup for most improved player, every week he worked hard on improving his technique and timing of hitting the ball, which showed in his performance and was a pleasure to coach.
Also a big shout out to coaches, Samantha & Lisa, Corinne (Welfare Officer), Bradleys (new sponsor) and LTC members who helped on court to ensure they all had a great experience.
Saturday morning tennis is planned to restart on 21 September. More details to follow.
